Downloading Recovered Data

For Windows PCs:
1. Download the RDDClient utility by clicking here.

2. Run the application.



3. Windows will ask if you want to run this application. Click "Run".


4. The following window will appear. Enter the support code the technician provided to you, and click "OK". If you do not have a support code or cannot remember your support code, please contact us at support@crisisresponseunit.com.


5. After clicking "OK", the data transfer will begin. This will take some time depending on your internet speeds.


6. Once it is complete, the program will ask if it is ok to extract the recovered data. Click "Yes".


7. The program will now ask where you would like to extract your recovered data to. By default it will save it to a "RecoveredDocs" folder in your Documents folder. Click "OK" to begin the extraction process.


8. The extraction process may take some time depending on your computer's performance. Please be patient.

9. Once the extraction process is complete, it will notify you that it has finished successfully. Click "OK" to continue.


10. The program will pop up with a reminder of what the application is for and who it is made by. Click "OK" to dismiss it.


For non-Windows PCs (Mac, Linux, Phones, Tablets, etc.)

A download link will be provided to you via email for your data archives, which will be sent in .zip format and can be extracted by default on most operating systems. If you need further help, please contact us at support@crisisresponseunit.com.
